Introducing a fresh new ordering experience and two new products

As those who have been following us along our journey knows, we are continually looking to develop our customer experience and the products we offer which is why I am super excited to share this update with you.

We have been working hard to build a UK hosting platform that provides our customers with an easy to use, secure and reliable environment so that your websites can thrive.

These updates continue in that vein.

Improved Customer Sign Up Experience

Today, I am officially introducing our slick new customer experience when you sign up with LS25 Web Hosting. We have moved away from using the third party billing engine that we previously used and have rolled out a completely new billing system that is built right into our platform.

This gives us additional security, more control over the way that it works and most importantly, it gives anyone signing up for our services a much smoother experience. It also guarantees the immediate provision of hosting once payment is made.

Two New Products

We are also excited to announce two new products that are available as add-on services to our customer but that will provide additional reassurance around the security and status of your websites.

Timeline Backups

If you are using our Managed WordPress platform, you can now add Timeline Backups to your account.

So what, I hear you ask, are Timeline Backups?

Well, while you can create backups through the LS25 Web Hosting control panel, this service automates the process. It takes full snapshots of sites and databases each day. These Timeline Backups are then stored for 30 days, so you can restore back to a previous point in time.

They give you peace of mind, and it’s one less job for you to do! They are also available to you for the price of one of your favourite high street coffees, at just £2.95/month.

Malware Scanning

The second new product that we are announcing is our on-demand Malware Scanning tool.

Our Malware Scanning tool is available on all our hosting platforms (Linux and WordPress Hosting).

If you opt for this, we will scan your website every day for common malware. Using commercial tools and systems developed in-house, we are able to discover all sorts of nasties. Malware – such as web shells or mail/spam daemons – can compromise your installation, giving criminals access to your site’s data, email and content.

We give you a detailed report on the results of this scan in our StackCP control panel. Should malware be discovered, we can send you an email alert.

Our Malware Scanning service is available for an even more reasonable price of just £1.95/month.

Both our Timeline Backup and Malware Scanning services can be ordered quickly and easily from within your hosting control panel. They are both provisioned immediately when purchased. 

So, in this day and age, what price do you pay for that additional reassurance and security for your website? Well, if you’re an LS25 Web Hosting customer, you can do it for less than two high street lattes as a month.
